Jack Butorac knows a strong franchise operation when he sees one. He is an industry veteran with 35 years of experience turning high-quality local restaurant concepts into thriving national chains. As president and CEO of Marco’s Pizza (Marco’s Franchising, LLC), Butorac’s goal is to help expand Marco’s brand of Ah!thentic Italian pizza from its Ohio roots to a nationwide presence.

Cameron Cummins

Vice President of Marketing and Franchise Recruitment

Cameron Cummins is vice president of marketing and franchise recruitment for Marco’s Pizza (Marco’s Franchising, LLC). A part-time consultant since 2004, he joined Marco’s in his current role in 2006, impressed with the quality of the product and the company’s business model.

Carey Hamilton

Director of Field Marketing

Carey Hamilton is the director of field marketing for Marco’s Pizza (Marco’s Franchising, LLC). He manages marketing and advertising program coordination for franchise- and company-owned Marco’s stores. His responsibilities include local store marketing, print media planning and promotions research and analysis. Hamilton also coordinates communication between corporate personnel, franchisees and company supervisors.

Mike Jaynes

Vice President of Sales, Research and Development

As vice president of sales, research and development for Marco’s Franchising, LLC (Marco’s Pizza), Mike Jaynes manages the opening and promotion of new stores; product research, development and testing; and the creation and deployment of online employee training programs. Jaynes joined Marco’s Pizza in 1988 as a district manager, impressed with the company’s focus on fresh, quality pizza.

Syl Sosnowski

VP of Marketing

International and Domestic Franchise Marketing 20+ years. 6 years with Papa John's as VP of Marketing and 11 years as VP of New Products for KFC. Assisted with the Marketing efforts that took Papa John's from 700 to 2900 stores.

Bryon Stephens

Vice President of New Business Development

Bryon Stephens, vice president of new business development for Marco’s Pizza (Marco’s Franchising, LLC), develops and executes the company’s growth strategy; creates and manages franchisee recruitment campaigns; and oversees the logistics of new store openings, including real estate and construction.

Jim Strachan

Vice President of Franchise Operations

Jim Strachan has been with  Marco’s Pizza (Marco’s Franchising, LLC) for 12 years and was promoted to his current role as vice president of operations from director of franchise opterations.

 

Strachan oversees Marco's franchise operations and communication with its area representatives nationwide.  He is also responsible for employee training and site and equipment selections for the company's growing chain of more than 170 stores.  In addition, Strachan is a Marco's franchisee, with four stores of his own in Michigan.

Ken Switzer

VP and CFO

29+ years experience in the Finance and Management industry. In 20 years with Marco's, Ken has led development efforts for administrative systems that have been responsible for building the system from 30 to 113 stores, during that time they had 15 consecutive years of increased revenue and profits.

Peter Wise Director of Marketing

Peter Wise

VP of Marketing

Peter has 24 years of marketing experience in the private sector and joined the Company in November, 2007 as our Vice President of Marketing. From 2004 – 2007 he was the CEO of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, one of San Francisco’s largest non-profits active in the social service sector. Previously he served in senior marketing and advertising positions with Young & Rubicam Advertising, Landor Associates, and Mercedes-Benz. He has developed and implemented a wide range of marketing and branding strategies for such companies as FedEx, Ford Motor Company, E*TRADE, Visteon and Chevron.

   

Don Vlcek VP of Purchasing
 

Don Vlcek

Vice President of Purchasing

As vice president of purchasing for Marco’s Pizza (Marco’s Franchising, LLC), Don Vlcek oversees and educates store operators in the areas of product purchasing, distribution and pricing. He joined Marco’s Pizza in 2007, recognizing the potential to achieve the same success and rapid growth Domino’s Pizza Corporation (Domino’s) experienced when Vlcek was a member of the executive team.

Mark Scibiorski

Director Operational Training

Mark has 16 year of franchise operations experience and comes to us from Marco’s, Inc. where he started as a Franchise Manager in June of 1998. Before that, he was an International Franchise Representative for Little Caesars Enterprises, Inc. for approximately 3 years. He was with that company for 10 years, holding a number of positions during that time.
