Authentic Italian Pizza Company to open 14 New Locations in Area
TOLEDO, OHIO – May 5, 2010 – Marco’s Pizza, an authentic Italian pizza company headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, has announced plans to open 14 new stores in Atlanta’s Northern suburbs. Marco’s area representatives overseeing the development are Andrew Black, Corky Corcoran, Grady Lee and Tommy Russell, partners in Dough Makers, LLC.
The group plans to open their own stores as well as develop franchises in Acworth, Alpharetta, Blue Ridge, Canton, Cartersville, Cumming, Dahlonega, Dawsonville, East Cobb, Jasper, Kennesaw, Marietta and Woodstock. They expect to open their first store before the end of the year. There are currently four Marco’s Pizza locations in the Atlanta area, in Dunwoody, McDonough and Suwanee (two locations in Gwinnett County and Forsyth County). Marco’s has plans for a total of 60 stores in metro Atlanta.

Marco’s Pizza stores employ up to 20 to 25 people and offer carryout, delivery and online ordering. Marco’s menu features the company’s Ah!thentic Italian pizza, Cheezybread, chicken wings, fresh-baked subs, meatballs, salads, soft drinks and more. Stores make fresh pizza dough daily and use a proprietary sauce recipe and a blend of three fresh cheeses.
